Voter Registration Information

Need to Change Your Address?

If you are already registered to vote elsewhere in Texas, but want to change your location to be able to vote in Denton, you'll need to change your address. If you are already registered in Denton County, you'll just need to file new address information. If you are registered outside of Denton County, you'll need to register IN Denton County. For more info on this and other voter questions, see http://votetexas.gov/faq. The deadline to change your address or register in Denton County is October 9.

The following are upcoming opportunities to register to vote on-campus. The deadline to register to vote in the November election, in the state of Texas, is October 9. For additional information on registering, visit http://votetexas.gov/register-to-vote. Additional voter registration events will be added to this page as updates are sent to Student Activities. Info: The goal of this 2-hour program is to educate students about the role money plays in today’s political environment and how that affects them in their daily decision making. A SMMC mentor will be the moderator for the program. Faculty members and politicians will serve as panelists for the event. Voter registration will be available.
